The spring pillar fabrication is made from two parts soldered together, Items 16 (drawn in the Release Pillar Fabrication) and Item 49, which is brass. (Note, while you're making Item 49, it's worth using the same machine setup to make 2 off Item 48, Pillar [see Index Arm Assembly]). The only important dimension on item 49 is the 8.75mm dimension.
These are soldered together using Item 79, as below:-
